A daredevil stunt performer is performing a spectacular motorbike act at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park this week as the start of a record-breaking effort across Europe.
Kevin Chaves, 21 years old, will launch the attempt at the iconic south east London destination later today, Thursday, October 21, before travelling around Europe replicating his act.
The effort is in celebration of the return of Circus Berlin, which is at Blackheath Common until October 31.
Due to the circus Big Top's residency in Blackheath Common, their Portuguese daredevil will launch his record-breaking attempt in south east London on Thursday.
Mr Chaves will perform his unique rola-bola motorbike routine by the Greenwich Royal Observatory with views of London in the backdrop, before doing 49-similar stunts in Lisbon, Brussels, Barcelona, Rome, Paris, Berlin and beyond.
Circus Berlin Director, Dr John Haze: “Kevin comes from a family of circus performers, he is a multi-talented performer & the opulent background of the London skyline will make a perfect setting for this dare devil stunt.”
