A man has been taken to hospital after being bitten during an assault in Greenwich.
Police were called at around 3.25pm on Monday to reports of an assault in Westmount Road.
Officers found a man who had bite injuries.
He was taken to hospital.
His injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.
A man, in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 15:24hrs on Monday, 18 October to reports of an assault in Westmount Road, Greenwich.
"Officers attended and found a man who had bite injuries. He was taken to hospital, his injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.
"A man, in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.
"Enquiries continue."
