This case for defendant Mr Nicholas Davies was heard at Woolwich crown court. On November 8, 2022 the jury returned not guilty verdicts to the two counts of rape indicted. Mr Davies was acquitted.

A man has been charged with two counts of rape after a woman was attacked on her way home from a night out in Bexley.
A 39-year-old from Greenhithe has been accused with the offences after some "skilled police work" to turn around the charge swiftly.
The victim was attacked by a man as she made her way home from a night out in Bexley with friends on October 10.
Bexley MPS said Nicholas Davis, of Greenhithe in north Kent, has been charged with two counts of rape.
