A man is fighting for his life after he was assaulted on Beckenham High Street in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 17).
Police were called to the High Street shortly after 1.20am following reports of an assault, attending alongside the ambulance service.
The victim, believed to be 42, was found with serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene before being rushed to a south London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. His next of kin have been informed.
A crime scene was in place from the time of the assault until shortly before 11am.
There have been no arrests.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or who has information about what took place.
