A child was rushed to a major trauma centre after being hit by a car in Crofton Park yesterday.
Ambulance services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene outside Rivoli Ballroom at around 12.45pm on Sunday (October 10).
A police cordon was pictured, as officers appeared to investigate the incident. The Met has been contacted for comment.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12:43pm yesterday (10 October) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Brockley Road, SE4.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene: two ambulance crews, three medics in cars and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance. The first of our medics arrived in under three minutes.
"We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre."
