A woman in her 40s arrested on suspicion of murdering a 51-year-old man in Orpington has been bailed.
She was arrested at the scene, a residential address on Chelsfield Lane, after police were called at around 11.45pm on Saturday, October 9.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the efforts of paramedics. A port mortem is due to take place today (October 11.)
The man and woman are believed to have been known to each other. Nobody else is sought at this time in connection with the incident.
The murder investigation is led by detectives from specialist crime. Anyone with information that may assist is asked to call 101, quoting ref 8549/09oct.
