A man in his 30s suffered life-changing injuries after falling from a height in Beckenham yesterday.

Police were called to Dorset Road at around 4.15pm on Monday, September 27, following reports a man had fallen from a residential building.

Ambulances services rushed to the scene, including an air ambulance, which was seen landing on nearby Maberley Road Playing Field.

The man’s injuries were assessed as life-changing in hospital.

There were no suspicious circumstances and no arrests have been made.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.16pm yesterday (27 September) to reports of an incident on Dorset Road, Beckenham.

"We sent an ambulance crew, two medics in cars, and a clinical team leader. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.

"We treated a person at the scene and took them to a hospital as a priority."
