Police in Kent helped a woman in labour get to hospital after she was stuck in heavy traffic and couldn't get there.
Officers stopped a vehicle travelling on the hard shoulder on the A2 at Bean this morning when an incident near Dartford Crossing was causing delays.
When police spoke to the driver, they found out his partner was in labour.
The officers provided a "blue light escort" to Darent Valley Hospital for a safe birth.
