Police have released an e-fit of a man after three couples were robbed in a Deptford park at knifepoint, with one man suffering stab wounds from which he is still recovering.

The incidents took place in Brookmill Park across three nights on August 30, 31 and September 2, 2021, between 7.45pm and 10pm.

In each, the suspect approached couples as they were sat on a bench, before pulling a knife and robbing them of their mobile phones.

On August 31, a man in his 20s suffered a multiple stab injuries.

He was rushed to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. He continues to recover.

All of the victims have described the suspect as being a black male, 6ft tall, of skinny build, who was wearing a face mask and hood.

Police have not received any further reports since the last incident, but no arrests have been made.

Detective Constable Amy Burnell is the investigating officer. She said: "I would like local people to look closely at the e-fit we have issued and think about whether you recognise him.

"Information as to his identity can be provided to 101. Please work with us to help catch this man and remove him from the streets."

Detectives are urging anyone who thinks they might be able to identify the man in the E-FIT to make contact immediately.
