The aftermath of a Dartford crash involving a police patrol car which resulted in five officers being hospitalised has been pictured.
The incident, which also involved a white Toyota Prius taxi, happened on Home Gardens at around 3.20am on Sunday morning.
Images from the scene show both cars with their doors flung open on a road strewn with debris outside TK Maxx.
The officers suffered injuries of “varying severity”, none of which are believed to be life-threatening.
No serious injuries were sustained by anyone travelling in the taxi.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "Can you help?
"Enquiries are being carried out by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, who would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam or CCTV footage.
