A man was found with tools and equipment on him by police in Lewisham.
Officers had been flagged down by concerned members of the public in Lewisham about a man trying to gain access to vehicles.
The man was then located by police and was found to be carrying a number of items - including screwdrivers, plyers and scissors.
According to police, he is now "off the streets and out of harms way".
The Metropolitan Police Taskforce revealed what had happened on social media.
TSG - U413 had been flagged down by concerned members of the public in @MPSLewisham to a male trying to gain access to vehicles, the male was located by TSG who then found the below items on his person. The male is now off the streets and out of harms way. ^4558U pic.twitter.com/vr47WIR90m
