Across England there were 6,244 people in hospital with Covid as of September 7, with 885 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.

The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has increased by 23% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has increased by 13%.

Kings College Hospital Trust

King's College Hospital Trust was caring for 96 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on September 7 was in line with the same day the previous week.

The number of beds at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 increased by 20% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 80.

The figures also show that 66 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in the week to September 5. This was down from 81 in the previous seven days.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust was caring for 74 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on September 7 was up from 71 on the same day the previous week.

The number of beds at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 increased by 16% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 64.

The figures also show that 54 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in the week to September 5. This was down from 61 in the previous seven days.

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

South London and Maudsley Trust was caring for 12 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on September 7 was up from six on the same day the previous week.

There were five beds occupied by Covid-19 patients four weeks ago in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The figures also show that 14 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in the week to September 5. This was up from four in the previous seven days.

Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust

Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust was caring for 29 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on September 7 was up from 18 on the same day the previous week.

The number of beds at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 increased by 45% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 20.

The figures also show that 24 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust in the week to September 5. This was up from eight in the previous seven days.

Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust

Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust was caring for 13 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on September 7 was up from six on the same day the previous week.

There was one bed occupied by a Covid-19 patient four weeks ago in Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

The figures also show that six new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust in the week to September 5. This was up from five in the previous seven days.
