Newly analysed data from Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats has uncovered the best and worst takeaway delivery spots in all of London’s boroughs.

Green Cakes found that out of the 32 boroughs, Bexley and Bromley came 28th and 29th respectively for having the fewest takeaway delivery option choices.

The research showed that the lower areas tended to be the boroughs on the fringes.

The bottom three boroughs which followed Bromley and Bexley were Croydon, Enfield and lastly, Barnet.

Greenwich was also in the bottom end at number 23, but Lewisham was the winner in south east London at number 16.

The top five boroughs for takeaway delivery options were Kensington and Chelsea, Islington, Hammersmith and Fulham, Camden and Hackney.

Green Cakes did find that in terms of the number of delivery options per head, all boroughs did serve takeaway-hungry customers quite well.

The top five London boroughs — perhaps unsurprisingly — are all located right in the centre of Greater London.

The data was found by counting all the total delivery options available within a location-central postcode, and then divided this by the total population.

The research was carried out across standard working days between 4 and 5pm.
