A road in Dartford closed in both directions for over three hours last night after a nasty-looking two car crash.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash on the B260 Green Street Green Road at around 5:30pm on August 18, with traffic badly affected in and around north Kent.

Two cars were pictured looking badly damaged following the crash, with the drivers requiring assistance to get out of their vehicles, and multiple people were taken to hospital for further medical attention.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said their crews helped get two people out of a vehicle, and then left the scene at 7.02pm.

Police confirmed multiple people were then taken to hospital for further medical attention after the crash, although it is not clear how many required were taken.
