A 16-year-old was found with multiple stab wounds after police were called to a street fight in Forest Hill.

Officers attended Woolstone Road at around 8pm yesterday, following reports from members of the public.

They provided first aid to the teenager, until paramedics from the ambulance service arrived, along with air ambulance staff.

He was rushed to hospital, where his condition has since been assessed as stable, not life-threatening.

The teen was later arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in hospital.

A 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of affray, before being taken to hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the earlier incident. 

His injuries are non-life-threatening, and he also remains in hospital.

Pictures from the scene showed a extensive police cordon on the residential street.
