A 69-year-old motorist has denied killing an elderly pedestrian by careless driving in Lewisham.
Retired Nuala Brook appeared by video-link for a hearing at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
She pleaded not guilty to a single charge of causing the death by careless driving of Catherine Riley.
The collision happened at the junction of Burnt Ash Hill and Westhorne Avenue on October 2 last year.
Ms Riley, who was 79, died eight days later.
Judge Rebecca Trowler QC set a further case management hearing at the Old Bailey on August 29.
She indicated that the case is likely to be transferred for a trial at another court.
Brook, of Sedgebrook Road, Blackheath, was granted continued unconditional bail.
