A lorry driver has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of murdering his ex-wife in south east London.
Stony Stoica, 44, allegedly killed 36-year-old Beatrice Stoica on Friday July 23.
Police and the ambulance service had been called to an address in Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, at 10.10pm.
The victim was found with stab injuries and died in hospital.
On Wednesday, Stoica appeared at the Old Bailey charged with her murder.
The defendant, from Lordship Lane, confirmed his identity by video-link from Thameside prison.
He was assisted in court by a Romanian interpreter.
Judge Rebecca Trowler QC set a timetable for the case, with a plea hearing on October 13.
Stoica was remanded into custody.
