An alleged drug dealer has been charged with five offences after he was stabbed during a fight in Dartford Town Centre.  

Oluwaseyi Oyeyemi, 26, from Erith, was arrested on July 17 after police were called Lowfield Street, where a Nissan Qashqai reportedly crashed into roadside furniture at 6pm.

Two men exited the car and a fight ensued, during which Oyeyemi suffered an injury “consistent with a stab wound."

Multiple officers were assaulted on attendance, police said, and two of those arrested were tasered as a result of "aggressive behaviour."

On July 23, Oyeyemi was charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, possessing cannabis with intent to supply, possessing a knife in a public place and assaulting an emergency services worker.

He was also charged with acquiring criminal property, namely a quantity of cash.

Oyeyemi was remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on August 13.

Hinzague Hanson, 21, of Zion Place, Gravesend, was also arrested for his alleged involvement on and later charged with wounding with intent.

Following a hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on July 20, he was remanded in custody to attend Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday 17 August.

Two other men, aged 39 and 26, were also arrested on the evening of the incident on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

They have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until August 11 and 13 respectively.
