A woman believed to be in her 50s died after falling from a height in Greenwich Peninsula.

Police were called to Barge Walk shortly after 8.30pm on Friday, July 16, attending alongside paramedics.

The woman was found with fatal injuries and died at the scene.

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.19pm yesterday (16 July) to reports of an incident on Barge Walk, SE10.

"We sent an ambulance crew, two medics in cars, and an incident response officer.

"Sadly, a person died at the scene."

Shocking footage of four men fighting with knives and machetes on the same street emerged last month.

Nathaniel Eyewu-Ago, 35, was stabbed multiple times on June 2, and died nearly a week later on June 8 from his injuries.

Three men have been charged with murder and aggravated burglary in relation to the incident.
