CCTV has been released after a shirtless man lay down opposite a woman before sexually assaulting her on a train travelling to Hither Green.
The victim boarded the service at London Bridge station shortly before 11pm on Friday, February 26, followed by the man, who sat next to her.
Throughout the journey he tried to engage the victim in conversation.
He then moved seats and laid down opposite before sexually assaulting her.
The suspect then disembarked at Hither Green railway station.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
