A man has been charged after an attempted car theft in South Darenth saw a driver assaulted in his own vehicle.
The motorist was allegedly assaulted by two men after they climbed inside his parked car in East Hill, South Darenth, on 17 February.

Cash and keys were said to have been stolen from the car.
It is reported the suspects entered the car at around 10am on 17 February 2021, but then fled on foot after the victim raised the alarm with passers-by.
On Wednesday 30 June, James Tullett was arrested and later charged with robbery.
The 35-year-old, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 1 July.
He was bailed at the hearing and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 29 July.
