A giant screen will be installed in Bromley High Street next month to help residents, workers, and visitors to enjoy the tennis at Wimbledon.
The big screen, safely spaced deckchairs and food and drink, including Wimbledon favourites Pimms and lemonade, prosecco and strawberries and cream, will bring the Championship atmosphere to the High Street outside H&M.
With matches screened throughout the day, tennis lovers and shoppers will be able to take a breather and enjoy a game, set or match on the 20-square metre screen.
Organised by Your Bromley, the town's Business Improvement District, the screen is set to be in action from Monday, July 5, as the fourth-round games get underway.
It will stay in situ until the end of the men’s singles final on Sunday, July 11.
Frances Forrest, BID manager, commented: “We’re delighted that our summer events programme is back and that we can bring our popular Wimbledon screenings to the town centre again this year.
"We hope the screen will be a great attraction for new and existing visitors to Bromley Town Centre and that the weather gives us plenty of opportunities to enjoy the tennis action.”
