SHOPPERS have had the chance to see plans to regenerate their area.
A model of the Thames Gateway project was put on show at Bluewater shopping centre, Greenhithe.
It showed people the north Kent section of the regeneration scheme.
The project covers an area stretching 40 miles from London's Lower Lea Valley east along the Thames.
It is hoped it will help create 7,000 jobs in Dartford and Gravesend and 30,000 new homes in north Kent.
Kent Thameside Delivery Board deputy chief executive Paul Williams said: "Being able to bring the model to Bluewater enables us to show the communities of Dartford and Gravesend the development which is proposed for these two historic towns."
