FIVE men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of Hell's Angel Gerry Tobin on the M40.

Mr Tobin, 35, of Mottingham Road, Mottingham, was shot dead as he rode his motorbike along the motorway in Warwickshire on August 12.

The mechanic, who worked at Warr's Harley-Davidson shop in Mottingham Road, was travelling with two other motorcyclists after leaving four-day biker festival the Bulldog Bash at Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Simon Turner, aged 41; Dane Garside, aged 42; Malcolm Bull, aged 53; Dean Taylor, aged 46, and Ian Cameron, aged 45, appeared via video link at Birmingham Crown Court on December 21.

Their addresses cannot be reported for legal reasons.

They will stand trial at the same court on October 1.

Two other men also charged with the murder will enter pleas at Birmingham Crown Court next month on a date to be fixed.
