Police say the crime scene is "still open and active" following a serious stabbing in Greenwich this week, and extra officers have been deployed across south east London.

This comes after senior police warning of a "pressure cooker" situation following the wave of violence which could result in more serious disorder.

Officers and paramedics were called to reports of men fighting in Barge Walk in the Greenwich Peninsula at around 4:23pm on Wednesday, June 2.

Video has since emerged of four men armed with knives and machetes slashing at each other in a disturbing brawl.
