A 23-year-old man is fighting for life after being stabbed in the face yesterday in Hither Green.
Officers say they were approached by a man with wounds to his face on Hither Green Lane at 7.38pm on Tuesday (June 1).
They are yet to make any arrests.

A section 60 order, which gives police increased stop and search powers, was in place across the Hither Green and central Lewisham area until 7am this morning.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 7:40pm yesterday (June 1) to reports of a person injured on Hither Green Lane, Lewisham.
"We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and two medics in cars to the scene. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"We treated a man and took him to a major trauma centre."
