The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir have once again achieved chart success after performing with famous singers Rag'n'Bone Man and P!nk for charity.

The NHS choir performed alongside the superstars in front of a live crowd at the Brit Awards last week, performing their version of 'Anywhere Away from Here.'

And the unlikely trio have broken into the top 10 of the UK Official Charts, achieving number nine.

The special version of the song is all for charity, with all proceeds going towards NHS Charities Together and the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Charity.

The choir is no stranger to chart success however, having successfully battled against Justin Bieber for Christmas Number One with their song 'A Bridge Over You'.

Choir leader and Children’s Physiotherapist Caroline Smith thanked Rag ‘n’ Bone Man for inviting the choir to take part in the single, and added: “We’ve been completely overwhelmed by the response to the song, and are still pinching ourselves about performing on the Brits and gaining a top 10 hit!

"It all feels surreal as the choir members are busy NHS professionals who sing on top of our day (and night) jobs. We’re so proud to be representing the NHS and to help raise money for such great causes.”

As well as reaching the top 10, the single gained support on social media from a range of high profile figures, including Dr Alex George, Richard Bacon, Victoria Derbyshire, Matt Haig and Dr Ranj.

In a message recorded on YouTube, Ben Travis, Chief Executive of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, spoke about his pride in the NHS and urged people to buy the single.

The song is available to download on iTunes and Amazon Music.
