A 39-year-old from Crystal Palace has been charged after a stabbing at a restaurant in a Tooting left a man in critical condition.
Antwan McLeary, 39 of Antigua Walk, will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 17 charged with section 18 GBH.
A 25-year-old man presented himself at a south London hospital suffering stab injuries at around 7.40pm on Friday, May 14.
Enquiries established the victim had been assaulted around ten minutes earlier at a restaurant on Upper Tooting Road.
Detectives from the Met’s South West Basic Command Unit are investigating and would like to hear from anybody with information about the attack.
