Two men were rushed to hospital after being found suffering stab wounds in Lewisham this afternoon.
Police were called at 12.51pm to reports of injuries on Belmont Hill, which borders Blackheath.
Officers attended along with ambulance services, including an air ambulance, which was seen landing on Blackheath at around 1.20pm.
They found a man, believed to be 29, with two stab wounds to the back.
A second man, believed to be 23-years-old, suffered a serious laceration to his hand.
Both men were transported to a south London hospital. Their conditions are thought to be non-life-threatening.
Enquiries to establish the circumstances continue.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.54pm today to reports of a stabbing on Belmont Hill.
"We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"A man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority."
