A MAN has been arrested as part of an investigation into three linked sex offences reported in Peckham Rye Park.

It follows enquiries after reports that a male approached several girls aged under 13 and exposed himself, between December 2020 to March 28, 2021.

Officers arrested the male, who matched the description of the suspect, in the Peckham Rye Park, at 4pm on Friday, April 9.

Police confirmed he is being questioned at a south London police station.

On New Year’s Eve 2020 the suspect approached his first victim at around 5pm, exposing himself and attempting to sexually assault her. He ran off when the victim screamed.

On Tuesday March 2, a man exposed himself and performed a lewd act in front of two girls, also under 13, at around 4pm.

On March 28, a man exposed himself to a girl at around 4 pm.
