A man charged with the murder of a 50-year-old woman on Easter Sunday (April 4) in Plumstead has appeared in court.
Vasile Bratu, 39, of no fixed address appeared at Bexley Magistrates' Court earlier today (April 7) where he was remanded in custody.
The Met Police said he would appear in court again, at the Old Bailey, on Friday (April 9).
As News Shopper reported previously, the police were called to a residential address in the early hours of Easter Sunday at Ravine Grove in SE18.

There they and paramedics from London Ambulance Service found a seriously injured woman suffering stab injuries.
"Despite the efforts of paramedics, the woman died around an hour later," a Met Police spokesperson confirmed later on Sunday morning.
The Met Police added on Wednesday that confirmation that all the woman's next of kin have been informed, and formal identification, awaits.
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are continuing to investigate.
