Fire crews are battling a fire that broke out in a residential area of Erith earlier this morning, London Fire Brigade (LFB) have confirmed.
The blaze broke out some time before 8.20am, when LFB reported their presence at the scene on Alberta Road in Erith.
Fire crews remained at the fire over an hour later continuing to fight the fire and bring it under control, a spokesperson for LFB Bexley said in a short statement posted to Twitter.

"Firefighters are currently bringing a fire under control in Alberta Road, Erith. Four fire engines in attendance , firecrews are using two hose lines and breathing apparatus.
"Firefighters will be on the scene of 4 pump fire for a while ,making safe and investigating the cause," the spokesperson said.
They meanwhile confirmed that no-one was reported injured:
"Thankfully no injuries have been reported #erith #northumberlandheath."
