Police officers have busted yet another cannabis factory in Thamesmead on Thursday, arresting three people in the process.
Thamesmead and Belvedere SNT say around 30 large cannabis plants have been seized and the suspects remain in custody after the latest in a string of busts.
On March 25 at around 2pm, local officers attended an address in West Thamesmead to try and arrest a wanted male.
Police managed to gain entry to the property, breaking in to find approximately 30 large cannabis plants.
Three people were arrested for the production of cannabis and have been taken to a south London police station.
The police force added: "As warned previously, if you are taking up this type of business venture, it will only be a matter of time before we come knocking on your door."
Just last week another cannabis factory was discovered hidden inside an address on the Greenwich Peninsula.
Last month a third factory was busted by police in Belvedere.
And on December 30, 2020, around £1,000,000 worth of the Class B drug was seized from a warehouse in Charlton after a police raid.
