Shoppers at Aldi now have a new way of buying and collecting supplies from the discount chain's Dartford store after a deal was struck with delivery service Deliveroo.

Customers within a 6km radius of the store at the Orchards Shopping Centre in Dartford will now be able to choose from around 400 essential Aldi grocery items through the app.

Deliveroo 'on-demand' deliveries were first trialled at eight Aldi stores in England last May, but is now being extended to the Dartford store, and is currently available at around 120 sites across the UK.

Once ordered, products are picked and packed by Aldi colleagues before being delivered by Deliveroo’s network of riders in as little as 20 minutes.
