A hugely popular Darent Valley Hospital worker from Bexleyheath has sadly died after catching Covid-19.
Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust yesterday paid tribute to Jan Agyurek, a chemotherapy support worker on the Pine Therapy Unit at the Dartford hospital.
The mum of three and grandmother of four died earlier this week after a two week battle with coronavirus.
Jan, aged 63, grew up in Crayford and worked across a number of NHS posts before joining Darent Valley Hospital in 2010 where she was reportedly hugely popular.

In a post, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust announced: "It's with a heavy heart that we share with you the sad news of the untimely death of Jan Agyurek Chemotherapy Support Worker on Pine Therapy Unit.
"Our thoughts go out to Jan’s family & friends at this very sad time. Jan touched the hearts of all who came into contact with her."
A two minute silence was held at the hospital in her memory.
