Police in Greenwich have issued Covid fines to a group of young men who travelled across the capital to party in Woolwich.
A number of Met Police patrols in south east London over the Valentines weekend saw officers called to enforce the lockdown rules once again.
Mobile patrols covering Greenwich Peninsula, Woolwich Riverside and Greenwich West on Saturday night (February 13) saw one group of young men caught breaching these rules.
The group had travelled from North East London to 'socialise in our wards' - all were issued Covid-19 fines from MPS Woolwich Riverside.
Alongside the fines, drugs were also seized during the patrols.
In a short statement, the local police force urged people not to travel unless it is for work or a necessary reason.
"Further breaches of Covid this evening. Please Stay Home and we can hopefully return back to normal quicker."
Police in south east London have reported a number of breaches in recent weeks, from large sports games to raves and parties.
A fortnight ago, police busted a large group playing football in Charlton, issuing fines to those involved, and the week prior Woolwich street preachers were also fined for breaching the rules.
