Below are a collection of the images marking a spate of stabbings that happened in South London over a 24-hour period between February 5 and February 6.
One man died and several more were injured after a wave of stabbings took place at various locations across South London on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said they were treating the incidents, in which 10 others suffered stab wounds, as isolated.
In total, five separate stabbing incidents took place in South London on Friday evening, while a sixth occurred on London Road in Croydon on Saturday afternoon.
One resident who lives in the area of Croydon where the fatal stabbing took place said she saw medical staff attempt to save the life of the man who later passed away: "They tried really hard to save him but there was a lot of blood.
"It is terrifying, my son is 19 and I’m worried for him."
On Saturday, a 24-year-old man was taken to a major trauma centre after he was found suffering from stab wounds on London Road in Croydon, near West Croydon station (below).
Police said his condition was not thought to be life-threatening.
