Police are investigating reports of two teenage boys punched and robbed a man on a major bridge in Dartford on Wednesday.
The victim, a man in his 20s, has reported that he was approached and punched several times by two younger individuals, believed to be teenage boys, as he walked on a bridge that connects Station Approach to a car park in Overy Street at around 7pm on January 27, 2021.
The offenders are also said to have attempted to take a mobile phone out of the victim’s pocket, however no items were stolen and no serious injuries have been reported.
Information is now being sought following the robbery report.
Officers are reviewing available CCTV but would also like to hear from any witnesses, including motorists who were travelling in the area at the time of the offence and may have captured the suspects on their dashcams.
The first of the two suspects is described as being short and also having short brown hair. The second was wearing a grey jacket with his hood up.
A group of young people were also in the vicinity and are believed to have been with the two suspects, but were not part of the attempted robbery.
