A man has been arrested after driving the wrong way down a dual carriageway in north Kent, straight towards a police car.

The driver told officers he hadn't had any alcohol, but police said a breathalyser showed he was two times over the drink drive limit.

Kent Police tweeted out about the incident, which happened on the A228 Wainscott Bypass on Sunday, January 24, at around 4:15am.

The police force expressed their shock at finding the Ford Focus driving the wrong way down the road, calling it "unbelievable."
