Trains have blocked from travelling through most of south east London this morning after a rail defect has prompted 'urgent repairs'.
The defect is located in Erith, but has blocked the rail line in both directions, cutting off Charlton, Woolwich, Greenwich, Plumstead, Deptford and more.
Trains from Dartford travelling towards London and vice versa are unable to call at a number of stations, and the line is expected to be blocked for around four hours.
Southeaster Railway said the line had been closed following safety checks at Erith Station, and promised more updates to come.
