Two men have been arrested and sizeable amounts of drugs and cash seized by police after raids and searches in Lewisham and Bexley this week.

In Lewisham, police officers investigating the supply of drugs in the Bromley area were led to an address in Lewisham.

Earlier today, January 21, officers raided the house. Inside, Bromley MPS said a "significant" quantity of cash and drugs were recovered.

A 27-year-old make was arrested for possession with intent to supply.

In Bexley, the Met Police's Road & Transport team stopped a male acting suspiciously on Wednesday morning, January 20.

A search of the car uncovered "a lot of class A drugs," as well as scissors, according to Met Police.

Officers then carried out a search of his address, and found even more drugs.

The male has been arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, and to add insult to injury, reported for a bald tyre.
