Two men have been charged with drugs, machete and driving offences after a foot chase in Dartford on Tuesday.
Kent Police officers attempted to stop a vehicle at around 3pm on January 19, but two male suspects reportedly fled on food.
After a short foot chase, they were arrested in Lansbury Crescent in Dartford and brought into custody.
During the incident, police seized heroin, cannabis and a machete
The pair, both aged 22 and from south east London, were remanded to appear before a magistrates court today, January 20.
The charges are as follows:
Norman Samura, 22, of Spindle Close, Woolwich, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply, possession of cannabis, possession of a machete, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and dangerous driving.
Kai McGinely, 22, of Canterbury Place, London was charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply, possession of cannabis, possession of a machete and two counts of criminal damage.
