An unusual dagger has been taken from a male after he fled from a number of police officers in Woolwich.
He was chased down, caught and arrested by Met Police, and is currently in police custody.
The Met said its Violence Suppression Unit was conducting stop and searches on Herbert Road, SE18, on December 30.
Upon seeing police officers, a young male ran off, but was located shortly after.
He was stopped and searched, and found in possession of the pictured blade.
He was subsequently arrestesd, and is currently in police custody.
A 16-year-old boy has since been charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 31.
