Police have released a appeal for information after a man was found injured following a fight in Gravesend.

A man in his 30s was found injured in a car park in Overcliffe at around 11pm on Friday, December 18.

The man was taken from between Lennox Road and St James' Avenue to a local hospital.

There he revealed to police that an hour before he was found, he had been in an latercation with a man.

Kent Police said that "as part of ongoing enquiries, a 28-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of assault the next day."

He has since been released on bail until Tuesday 12 January 2021.

Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses who may have information but are yet to come forward.

In particular, they would like to obtain dash cam footage from vehicles that were travelling in the area between 10pm and 11pm.
