Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in SE1 earlier today (November 17).

A man in his 20s was found with serious injuries in Southwark on Tuesday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's next of kin are aware, and a murder investigation is underway.

Met Police say they were called to Bramwell House, SE1, at around 11:10am on November 17 to reports of a stabbing.

Police officers, London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance all attended.

A man, believed aged in his 20s, was found inside the address suffering injuries.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Met added that the victim's next of kin have been notified, and no arrests have been made so far. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
