A man has been taken to hospital via air ambulance after an incident in Thamesmead.

Met Police said they were called to Templar Drive in south east London on Monday morning (November 16) to reports of a male found injured.

Officers attended SE28, and found an 18-year-old man.

The male had suffered an injury to his abdomen after he had jumped a fence.

The injured person was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where he is reported to be stable.

Witnesses reported London Air Ambulance landing near the area.

A Met spokesperson said: "Police were called at 10:35hrs on Monday, 16 November to Templar Drive SE28 following reports of a male found injured.

"Officers attended and found an 18-year-old male with an injury to his abdomen that was sustained after he jumped a fence.

"He was taken to hospital by LAS. His condition is not life-threatening or life-changing."
