TWO men have been charged with drug offences after bags of cocaine and heroin were found in a storage container in Northfleet.
Ahead of a planned warrant on November 11, at around 6.40pm officers stopped two men as they attempted to enter the container on Watling Street.
Following a search officers seized a rucksack which contained several bags filled with cocaine and heroin.
Lee Nevard, 39, of Cotton Lane, Dartford, was later charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
Raymond Beaver, 42, of Ladywood Road, Dartford, was also charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
Both men appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on November 13 and were remanded in custody.
A 37-year-old man from Plumstead was released pending further enquiries.
