Two children have been arrested by police in Orpington after reports of youths using catapults to terrorise wildlife in the area.
Bromley MPS said they had been receiving complaints from local residents in Priory Gardens in Orpington about children carrying weapons, specifically catapults.
They were reportedly being used to target wildlife in the area, and officers responding to the complaints today (November 12) revealed that two children had been arrested for the very offence.
In a statement, Bromley Police said: "Catapulted into action!
"Last week following residents raised concerns in the area of Priory Gardens, Orpington, of children in the area carrying catapults, using them to fire missiles at wildlife.
"Officers have arrested two children for this offence. You called we served !
