Emergency services are dealing with an ongoing incident between Woolwich Arsenal and Slade Green, causing heavy travel disruption.

The Woolwich, Bexleyheath and Sidcup train lines are reporting 'major disruption', and delays should be expected between Dartford and Plumstead until at least 7:30pm.

Southeastern say the power has currently been switched off to allow emergency services to deal with the incident on the tracks.

At around 5pm, the train line tweeted out about an incident between Woolwich Arsenal and Slade Green, meaning services on the Woolwich line would be cancelled or delayed.

On top of diversions, tickets are currently being accepted on the DLR between Woolwich, Greenwich and Lewisham, and on London buses between New Cross and Dartford.

Southeastern said: "The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Dartford and Plumstead resulting in all lines being blocked.

"Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 19:30."
