Every year, thousands of people line-up the streets of Marlow to pay their respects to those who lost their lives during the two world wars.

Mayor Richard Scott said: “Although we’re very disappointed that we are unable to hold our normal Remembrance Day parade and service, we are looking forward to commemorating the anniversary in a different way.

“We hope that many people will watch the streamed version online.”

The service will be recorded during the previous week and wreaths will be laid privately in advance.

Reverend Dave Bull of All Saints’ Church will lead the service, Dixie Ingram of the Scots Piped Band will play the Lament and Sir Henry-Aubrey Fletcher, Lord Lieutenant, will lay a wreath.

The poem In Flanders Field will be read by children of Sandygate School.
